Learning roadblocks can occur for many reasons that can be due to an innate learning disability or for some psychological reason. But no matter what, when the world expects us to learn and, in the moment, we can’t we hit “The chasm” The Chasm is an intense moment in time , It can be traumatic and leave a lasting impression. Take the child with unknown dyslexia who has to read out loud every day in school.
If the chasm happens too often and lasts too long, life gets complicated. Experiencing humiliating disappointments as we grow leaves an imprint in our minds that can follow us throughout our life and the memory can haunt us.
